Welcome to Session 2025-2026Welcome Note from Artistic Director. "Dance is Divine". Dance gives you a positive perspective towards life and helps you lead a healthy (physically and mentally) life-style, full of enthusiasm, positivity and hard work. It gives you a platform to express and exchange ideas while enhancing your personality. With this motto and objective, we continue our journey of Exploring Indian Classical Dance called Kathak. I welcome you all to new school session. Let's sail through it with Dancing Feet.... Session starts on 07/18/2025 (Friday) Please wear White anarkali or Kurti (with colorful leggings and chunni) on your 1st class. Madhyama/Visharad Volunteering System We learn and refresh our knowledge when we explain to our juniors. Madhyama & Visharad students need to do volunteer work as a mandate towards their exams. Please add your volunteer details here. Riaz (daily practice) is highly important Riaz or daily practice is very crucial for Kathak or any art form. During Kathakanjali, you all showed your dedication and passion for dance through such mesmerizing performances. (Yes edited videos will be shared soon). Please extend this habit to next level. Plan one riaz session at the end of each month with your batch to revise everything done that month. If weather permits, you can use our open studio (Brindaban). If you have not yet collected your Trophy, please do so in your 1st class now. While Exam tests your knowledge, performances enhance your personality. While you all are doing pretty well towards your respective course level, there has been lack of presentation in performances, specially expressions. Aim for at least 3 Community Performances in a year going forward....This will soon be a criteria for promoting your level. Change in Makeup Class Policy After careful consideration, we have decided to discontinue offering makeup classes starting this session. While we understand that occasional absences are unavoidable, we have observed that the makeup class system was being increasingly misused, which affected the quality and consistency of learning for other students. If for any reason student misses the class, they can reach out to peers for details. We truly value each child’s progress and will continue to maintain high-quality instruction in every class. To support regular attendance, we encourage students to attend their scheduled sessions consistently. Fees Payment System We follow 6 month + 5 month payment option, as below: For all returning students: 1: 1st payment due by Aug 6th for : Aug-Jan 2: 2nd payment due by Feb 6th for : Feb-Jul For new students enrolling from July: 1: 1st payment due by July 20th for : July-Jan (Reg fee + July fee is half + Aug till Jan) 2: 2nd payment due by Feb 6th for : Feb-Jul (Payment modes: Paypal, Zelle, ApplePay, Check, details available on whatsApp) Please review General Rules once here. (Fees must be paid before reserving, last min cancellation becomes hard to manage and can not be rescheduled, we have many students at higher levels now and time management is critical.
